Leucophyllum Frutescens

Leucophyllum Frutescens is an evergreen wild shrub in the Figwort Family, Scrophulariaceae, native to Texas in the United States' Southwest. The shrub can also be found in high altitude areas of Kashmir, where the weather is pleasant. The shrub grows abundantly on higher mountainous ridges in Jammu and Kashmir's Shamshabari and Kazinag Dhar, as well as in northern Mexico's states of Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas. It is commonly grown as an ornamental plant.

Geum (Avens)

Geum, also known as Avens, is a genus of about 50 rhizomatous perennial herbaceous plants in the rose family and its subfamily Rosoideae, found in Asia, Europe, North and South America, Africa, and New Zealand. Potentilla and Fragarian are close relatives. The Geum, also known as the "Flowers of Himalaya," is found in the open forests and valleys of Jammu and Kashmir at elevations ranging from 1800-3600m.

Ligularia

Ligularia is a genus of Old World herbaceous perennial plants in the sunflower family's groundsel tribe. They have yellow or orange composite flower heads with brown or yellow central disc florets and are native to damp habitats in central and eastern Asia, with a few species also found in Europe. Ligularia is found throughout Jammu and Kashmir, from the Paddar valley in the district of Kishtwar to the extreme northern range of the western Himalaya. They thrive in fertile, moist soil, full sun, with some shade at midday.

Achillea Millefolium

Achillea Millefolium, also known as common yarrow or yarrow, is a flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. Old man's pepper, devil's nettle, sanguinary, milfoil, soldier's woundwort, and thousand seal are some other common names. It can be found in the Himalayan regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttrakhand at altitudes ranging from 1050 to 3600 metres. It is said that Achilles used it to heal his warriors during the Battle of Troy, hence the name "Achillea."

Chamomile

Chamomile is the common name for several daisy-like plants in the Asteraceae family. Chamomile is derived from the Greek language and means "Earth Apple." It can be used as a flavouring agent in foods and beverages, soaps and cosmetics, and it also has medicinal properties. It is widely available in Jammu and Kashmir and has been grown successfully on "Loamy Sand" at the Regional Research Lab's farm in Jammu. Russia's national flower is chamomile.

Pinuslambertiana

The tallest and most massive pine tree, with the longest cones of any conifer, is Pinuslambertiana. The species name lambertiana was given to the tree by the Scottish botanist David Douglas in honour of the English botanist Aylmer Bourke Lambert. Pinuslambertiana is abundant in the higher mountainous ridges of Jammu and Kashmir.

Phytolacca Acinosa

The Indian pokeweed, Phytolacca Acinosa, is a flowering plant in the Phytolacceae family. It is native to temperate eastern Asia, including the Himalayas, most of China, Vietnam, and Japan, and has spread widely in Europe. William Roxburgh first described the species in 1814. When the species was first described, it was thought to be a plant native to Nepal. The plant is currently considered native to countries surrounding the Himalayas, particularly the Jammu and Kashmir region.

Geranium Himalayense

Geranium himalayense is a hardy flowering herbaceous perennial plant in the Geranium genus, Geraniaceae family. Geranium himalayense is found in high altitude areas of Kashmir with pleasant weather. West Himalaya, Afghanistan, Kirgizstan, Nepal, Pakistan, Tadzhikistan, Tibet, and Uzbekistan are its native ranges. It has a sprawling habit, violet-blue flowers, and palmate foliage with deep cuts. It can be found in alpine and subalpine meadows. This flower is abundant in the higher mountainous ridges of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
